Terricciola Farmhouse

We are a family of four (boys ages 9 and 14)staying in Tuscany for four nights. We found a farmhouse in Terricciola. Is this a good place to stay? We'd like to visit Pisa, Siena and Cinque Terre. We are renting a car.

Are other areas in Tuscany better?

Thank you.

It's a little bit off the beaten path but it is pretty central.

Consider though that you will be driving on minor roads from there as you head out, so to get to Pisa you'll still need about 44 minutes, 2 hours to CT and 1.5hr to Siena.

If you were to stay closer to Pisa, you'd have larger roads from the start, the drive to Siena would be 2 hours and to CT 1.5hr so they even out. So the only time you'd save would be to get to Pisa ;-).

You could also stay closer to San Gimignano to also get to see that town, not sure there is much to see in Terriciola itself other than the countryside.
