Free Museum Day Dec 4, 2016
I read that the state museums will be free in Florence on December 4th, but not the "city" museums. But the calendar listing didn't specify which museums were considered "state" museums and which are considered "city." Could someone let me know which museums specifically are free on December 4th in Florence? Thank you!

These are the state museums in Florence - which are indeed free every first Sunday of the month:

In Florence, the city or civic museums are also free on that day but ONLY for residents. So you'll have to pay to visit those. This is the list for those museums:
