Default Visiting Italy in 1st week of April

Hey, Im planning a trip to Rome, Florence & Amalfi coast for my honeymoon from India, Mumbai. I plan to visit in the first week of April for around 9 days. Would it be a good time to visit weather wise as I learnt there might be days when it would rain in April. Can you please provides some advise on the same.

Congrats on your upcoming wedding and honeymoon!

I believe you should have great, although cool, weather in the first week. It might rain and it might not, generally speaking April is a very variable month and you cannot know for sure how it will be. Generally they are showers -- so you might get rain part of the day, then it clears up and you have a sunny day for the rest of the day. Just plan on bringing dress layers so that you can easily adjust to whatever the days bring! And an umbrella would likely be a good idea, just to be prepared.
